Cooking With Your Girlfriends Auntie Nicki’s Kitchen was birthed as a summer idea to allow Shianne (Auntie Nicki’s daughter) to spend time with her friends and cousins because she could not attend summer camp. They decided to start their own summer cooking camp. The young chefs were so excited about the idea that we adopted a phrase..."Cooking with your girlfriends." This is also the name of the first book in our series of children cookbooks.
Nichelle Alves (Auntie Nicki)
Auntie Nicki’s Kitchen was founded by Nichelle Alves. It was a promise to give ‘Lil Chefs’ the opportunity to explore the kitchen in a safe, clean, and fun way building on our motto “Cooking in Excellence”. The idea was presented to parents as a Saturday cooking class that would enhance ‘Lil Chefs’ desires to be in the kitchen. We would learn how to cook EVERTHING from “scratch”, learn how to measure, pour, mix, follow directions, and prepare different meals of the day and etiquette of dining.
Auntie Nicki's passion for cooking has come from a long family line of chefs. Factory Barbeque Restaurant as been a family owned business for over 100 years along with secret recipes that have made them well known in the industry. Factory Barbeque is based out of Oklahoma with several locations including 2 prior locations out of Atlanta Georgia.
Carolyn Carter (Chef Nana)
Nichelle took the idea to her #1 fan, her mom- Carolyn Carter (Chef Nana). Behind every great cook is a caring, loving, patient mother in the kitchen! Of course, Chef Nana has worked in the family business for many years. She not only brings her expertise, knowledge and passion for cooking but she is the center point to love that all ‘Lil Chefs’ adore. Her love for children and cooking are evident when she’s teaching class. Chef Nana is the core to our trio and we welcome and cherish her partnership.
Angela Murrell (Auntie Angie)

Auntie Nicki’s Kitchen is built on strong values and biblical principals. We begin each class with “Prep Prayer” led by one of our ‘Lil Chefs’. It’s absolutely amazing to hear little people pray and believe in their hearts God’s word. God has set the pace from the time we begin to today. We believe that through his grace all things are possible.
